ABOUT
Mikinduri Children of Hope (MCOH), co-founded in 2003 by Ted and Rita Grant and Makena Ambassa, works to alleviate poverty in Kenya by partnering with local leaders, churches, government agencies, and international partners. MCOH provides resources, knowledge, and training to help communities become self-sufficient.
Run by volunteers in Canada and Kenya, MCOH collaborates with two Kenyan community-based organizations (CBOs) to initiate and monitor projects. Since 2003, MCOH has focused on the Mikinduri area, expanding to Western Kenya in 2017.
MCOH is committed to improving access to clean water, food, education, healthcare, and safety for the resilient people we serve in Kenya.
