A Tribute to Ted & Rita Grant

Ted and Rita Grant of Prince Edward Island have dedicated their lives to helping others. In 2003 their hearts were touched by a story about Mikinduri, a small remote village in Kenya, that desperately needed help. With love and compassion for people they had never met, Ted and Rita helped start a small charity called Mikinduri Children of Hope.

They had no idea of the impact their work would have over the next 18 years. So many lives have been improved with Ted and Rita’s offering of love and hope to those needing a hand up.

Whether it be a presentation to hundreds of people at a fundraiser, or just a friendly conversation at a coffee shop, Ted and Rita’s passion is evident. They have given so much of their time, energy, love, as well as generous financial donations to our Kenyan neighbours. It is now our time to thank Ted and Rita for all they have done.
